Nepal receives over 700,000 visitors every year seeking to conquer Mount Everest.

Due to this high demand, climbing Everest is far from a solitary experience; so many try to climb the mountain that queues of hundreds of hikers regularly form on the mountain side!

Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu, is home to many major temples and holy sites. One temple conducts funerals of Hindu followers by the side of a river in full view of the public. The deceased are burned on a pyre while the family mourns.

Very few Nepalis have heard the gospel and even less have become Christians - a reported 1.2%!

We support the work of evangelists in Nepal through our Beautiful Feet project. They travel to some of the most remote regions of the Himalayas, reaching people groups many of us have never heard of. They often travel with literature and practical gifts such as blankets and sanitary kits for women.

We also help to provide seminary training, support the work of Scripture translation into minority languages, and fund relief and education in needy areas.
