Peter’s life transformed through a Bible study!

Peter* was a young, Syrian extremist living in the Middle East, but everything changed when he heard about a Bible study run by our partners. Penetrating a troubled refugee community, this discreet Bible study has spawned a thriving community. Places are limited as meetings burst at the seams and their popularity grows! As Peter attended his first Bible study, his zeal turned in a new direction. He asked deep questions, captivating the group with his earnest enquiries. His pen flew as he made notes, capturing everything he could on paper.

Afterwards, Peter shared his notes with his friends! His wife also began to take interest, reading the material and often finishing a book before Peter! One week, Peter was unable to attend and sent a note requesting a recording. Moreover, he explained that he had accepted Jesus as his Saviour and wanted to learn more! He knew he needed to change his old ways and wanted help to do that. Our partners were pleased to oblige! Once an extremist, Peter has not only been transformed, but also continues to share the good news of Jesus with his family and friends!
