Arnab saved through youth ministry in Bangladesh.
Born into a devout Hindu family of the Santali tribe, Arnab grew up immersed in rituals, traditions, and inherited beliefs. One day, Arnab heard that a group of young people had begun gathering each week in his town. It was a life group where young people were meeting for fun, fellowship and to hear God’s Word. Our partners in Bangladesh co–ordinate these life groups, sending workers to encourage the groups while also connecting remotely.

At first, Arnab found that the words about Jesus Christ sounded foreign, almost strange. Yet, as he continued attending, Arnab found himself wrestling with deep, uncomfortable questions. The faith he had always known felt increasingly fragile in the light of Jesus’ sacrifice. The longing for truth burned in him until he took the opportunity to attend a special weekend of teaching.
It was there, on the final night, during evening worship, that Arnab’s searching heart found its answer. Arnab had decided to surrender completely to God, proclaiming Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. From that moment, his life completely changed. He returned home not just as a changed man, but eager to share his newfound faith. Even though he lived far away, he began attending his nearest church faithfully. Today, Arnab is no longer just a participant in life groups, he serves full–time with our partners helping to reach other Hindu young people like himself.
Pray with us for Arnab and for the work of our partners in Bangladesh. May the Lord use them to bring many into His Kingdom.
