Sharing God’s Word in Iraq.
How precious is the Word of God to us? Do we truly recognise it as the book that brings life?
Our partners in Iraq recently shared this powerful story:
On what seemed like an ordinary day at a camp for displaced families from non–Christian backgrounds, one of our partners visited a tent to comfort a grieving family. Just days earlier, they had lost a loved one in a missile strike on the border.

As she sat with them, she gently shared from the Bible: “God cares for the sparrows and the birds of the sky. And since we are His children, we are even more precious to Him than they are. All He asks is our love and trust in Him, and in Jesus.”
After the visit, something remarkable happened. A member of the family, deeply moved by the message, turned to our partner and said: “I want the book that brings life.”
Please join us in praying for this family, and especially for the young girl who asked for the Bible—that their hearts may be fully opened to the truth of Jesus and the life He offers.
